The long awaited Central Annual General Meeting is here. The details are as stated below:

Date: 5 March 2022, Saturday

Time: 0900hrs-1100hrs

Location: Zoom

Dress Code: Smart 4 with beret

The virtual background and Zoom meeting details will be shared in your various WhatsApp groups respectively, do keep yourselves updated within your groups.

Also, we will be hosting an online cohesion from 1100hrs-1300hrs (directly after the AGM), with bonding sessions and mini games planned out for you guys. Do join if you are available.

 Greetings all,

Hope everyone has been well and is safe. 

The upcoming AGM for Central District will be held in the early March of 2022. The actual date and time is TBA. 

With that being said, we also have a few announcements to make:


1) With effect from 5 March 2022, we will be migrating from this Central Blogspot to a new Central District Google Site. More details to be released as the date nears.

2) In order to provide a more inclusive channel to any NCC/Central District updates, we will also be creating a new broadcasting channel on Telegram for Cadet Officers, Associate Members, and whoever involved to join. In this channel, the district management committee will be broadcasting various camp, courses and other related announcements. More details to be released as the date nears.

With this being said, we encourage all Cadet Officers, AMs, as well as anyone involved to stay updated in your various WhatsApp Groups, as well as the current Blogspot. We will still be broadcasting announcements in this Blogspot from now till 5 March 2022.

If there is any queries, please do not use the Enquiries function located in the Blogspot W.E.F 23/2/2022. Instead, please email central.district.event.ncc@gmail.com for the time being.

All Associate Members are to strictly abide by the rules & regulations being set out in the Admin Circular.

Central District DM Departments

 Central Cadet Officers,


The application for the District Management Committee is open, interested Cadet Officers please sign up through the signup link below.


The New District Management will have 5 key departments: Publicity & Engagement, Development, Training & Safety, Parade & Ceremony, Regimentation & Discipline. We hope to provide equal opportunity for all Cadet Officers by encouraging you to join the department as members. Each of these departments work hand in hand to make sure the district function smoothly. You would get to learn how the district is being run and be involved in planning activities.


Summary of each Department;


Publicity and Engagement Department: The Publicity and Engagement department is in charge of the Central portals like the blog, Instagram and emails. The department is tasked to disseminate new or updated NCC Circulars and Directives to all cadet officers and AMs. The department is to also assist to select Cadet Officers for events and courses in an unprejudiced manner. The department will also try to engage Cadet Officers along with the Development Department so to motivate the Cadet Officers as well as to keep the morale high.


Development Department: The Development department is in charge of the overall welfare of the district such as if the Cadet Officers have any issues, the Development department will be the ones they contact. The department is also tasked to plan and organise community projects/cohesion as well as to suggest and develop new skills, enhance existing skills for the Central Officers and AM. The department is also tasked to further groom the competencies of Cadet Officers and AMs.


Regimentation & Discipline Department: The Regimentation & Discipline department is in charge of handling any issues regarding the misconduct of the Central Cadet Officers while monitoring the Breach Report and ensure that Cadet Officers or AMs undergoing punishment are not deployed for any duties. The department ought to document security issues/misconduct during the course conduct as well as to promulgate security messages to the cadet/cadet officers.


Parade & Ceremony Department: The Parade & Ceremony department is in charge of ensuring that Cadet Officers are kept updated for any changes regarding the execution of any drills, assisting in planning and managing the Parades & Ceremonies on an HQ Level, to assist in selection for parade and ceremonial key appointment holders and to assist in refresher training for Cadet Officers, AMs and cadets. The department is tasked to also assist and maintain the NCC Drill Manual by ensuring there’s standardisation across our Central District.


Regimentation & Discipline Department: This department is in charge of handling any issues regarding the misconduct of the Central Cadet Officers while monitoring the Breach Report and ensure that Cadet Officers or AMs undergoing punishment are not deployed for any duties. The department ought to document security issues/misconduct during the course conduct as well as to promulgate security messages to the cadet/cadet officers.


These are some of the things they have to do in their individual departments but have to have strong communication with each other to ease their work. If you think you have a strong passion and urge to change and improve yourself, the District and NCC as a whole. This is the place to start, we now work closely with the Cadet Officer EXCO to bring change and improvements to better NCC and the Cadet Officers.

There will also be a higher level of commitment needed as a member of the district management, there will be a higher standard of discipline to uphold as the face of the district.
